The Volvo XC60 gets a host of updates, with probably the biggest one being a new set of engines. Other than new engines, the Volvo XC60 modifies its tech offerings slightly while also nixing standard leather seats. The 2022 Volvo XC60 also gets a slight design refresh for interior and exterior. The new Volvo XC60 is ready to help East Hartford area drivers take on a variety of driving needs, ranging from family hauling to daily commuting and beyond.

2022 Volvo XC60 Engine Updates

The Volvo XC60 gets rid of the T5 and T6 engines and replaces them with the B5 and B6. These engines are different from the old ones in more than just name. The B5 engine is a 2.0-liter turbocharged mild 48V inline-4 hybrid engine that makes 247 horsepower and 258 pound-feet of torque. Replacing the T6 is the B6, which is a 2.0-liter turbocharged/E-charged 48V mild hybrid inline-4 engine that provides 295 horsepower and 310 pound-feet of torque. The Volvo XC60 Recharge is also an optional version of the XC60, which is powered by a 2.0-liter turbocharged/supercharged plug-in hybrid engine that makes 400 horsepower and 472 pound-feet of torque.

2022 Volvo XC60 Tech Updates

The Volvo XC60 gets a new Google infotainment system along with all-new USB-C ports (formerly USB-A ports). The Volvo XC60 still comes with Apple CarPlay/Android Auto for smartphone connectivity along with a basic audio system and Bluetooth connectivity.
